הַֽדּוּדָאִ֣ים נָֽתְנוּ־רֵ֗יחַ וְעַל־פְּתָחֵ֙ינוּ֙ כָּל־מְגָדִ֔ים חֲדָשִׁ֖ים גַּם־יְשָׁנִ֑ים דּוֹדִ֖י צָפַ֥נְתִּי לָֽךְ׃

합환채가 향기를 토하고 우리의 문 앞에는 각양 귀한 실과가 새 것, 묵은 것이 구비하였구나 내가 나의 사랑하는 자 너를 위하여 쌓아둔 것이로구나

The baskets emit fragrance. The baskets of the good and the bad figs, as the matter is stated, “Adonoy showed me, and behold, two baskets of figs, etc. one basket of very good figs, etc., and the other basket of very bad figs, which were inedible.”37Maseches Eruvin 21b. These are the sinners of Yisroel. Now, both of them emit their fragrance; they all seek Your countenance.
